App data collection

Lensdatum collects no personal data, identifiers, usage analytics, diagnostics, location, contacts, photos, audio, health data, financial information, or advertising data. The app contains no analytics or advertising SDK and does not create an account.

On-device project storage

Project names, sensor and lens values, target requirements, candidate data, field checks, notes, calculations, and generated results are stored in the app's local container. The developer cannot read or retrieve this information.

Deleting the app removes its local container unless iOS restores it from a device backup under your Apple settings.

User-directed import and export

You may import a Lensdatum JSON file or export an evidence package through Apple's system document picker and share sheet. You choose the destination and recipients. Lensdatum does not upload files to a developer server.

Exported files can contain project names, notes, entered values, calculated results, validation records, timestamps, and findings. Review them before sharing and protect them according to your organization's requirements.

Optional external references

The Validate workspace contains links to public Edmund Optics, Basler, and Teledyne FLIR technical resources. A network request occurs only after you select a link, and the destination site processes that request under its own privacy policy. No project data is appended to those links.

Permissions and tracking

The app requests no camera, microphone, photo library, location, contacts, Bluetooth, motion, health, or notification permission. It does not track you across apps or websites and does not use Apple's advertising identifier.

Website hosting

This public policy and support website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process routine request information needed to deliver and secure the pages. The website has no account, form, advertising script, analytics script, or project upload feature.

Children

Lensdatum is a technical utility and is not directed to children. Because the app does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed behavior is distributed. The effective date above identifies the current policy.
